The French Riviera reveals landscapes with golden tints of an azure blue sky all year round and exposes many more unusual places for unforgettable adventures. Here are our ideas for a sweet, completely exotic moment! Adventures on the French Riviera
The French Riviera
The French Riviera allows you to savour the great diversity of landscapes and activities in an idyllic and quiet setting, with the rhythm of cicada songs… Leave your home comforts, therefore, for a variety of adventures on the French Riviera.
A unique safari and the unusual
In search of scenery and adventures? The Monts d’Azur Biological Reserve is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, and why not go on a safari at the heart of the French Riviera? Indeed, it is 40 km from Grasse that we find the most breathtaking setting and nature, full of cliffs, long, winding lawns and a great diversity of animals roaming free. Hundreds of animals, such as bisons, deer or wild boars, live together here. Fauna and flora unite for a most fascinating visit, whether on foot or by horse-drawn carriage.
Scented getaway in Grasse
For a unique and scented adventure, there’s nothing like visiting the centre of French fragrance. The world-renowned International Perfume Museum makes for the most intoxicating visit. You will discover the perfume industry’s history, the secrets of manufacturing or the different marketing strategies for packaging these incredible scents. The Molinard and Fragonard perfumeries offer a fragrance bar, where playful workshops take place. A great idea for us to get tempted, before taking home our own bespoke perfume made for us! Enough to get you further to the bottled South.
Culinary adventure in Menton
The greatest gourmands will be able to rejoice in a culinary escapade in the city of lemons, Menton. Indeed, at the heart of the town centre is Maison Herbin, which, since 1974, lovingly prepares and manufactures homemade jams on the spot, tantalising the eyes, as well as the taste-buds and sense of smell. Moreover, the lemon town also, of course, offers many products made from Menton’s lemons. From vinegar to chocolate, via the tapenade, this shop honours the city’s golden elixir.
A moment of culture in Nice
For a cultural getaway, what better way than a city trip to Nice? In fact, discover the Baroque treasures, such as the Nice Cathedral or the Palais Lascaris, before strolling along the emblematic Promenade des Anglais. Nice has a large number of museums filled with treasures: the Chagall Museum, the Matisse Museum, MAMAC (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art), the Museum of Sport… And why not stop at the Saleya flower markets ?
A walk on the waterfront
Not far from Nice is a small and relaxing town, though far from the hustle-and-bustle: Beaulieu-sur-Mer is the ideal place for seaside strolls on the sunny beaches of Little Africa or La Baie des Fourmis, or for splendid garden visits. For those who are looking for something a little more cultural at Beaulieu-sur-Mer, you can take a trip to the heart of ancient Greece thanks to Villa Kérylos, before discovering the beautiful garden of Olivaie.
